Privacy Policy

Your assessment answers, your latest result, your result history, and any “unlock” state are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. If you don't sign in, this data stays on your device.

You can delete this data at any time by clearing your browser's site data, or by retaking the test to overwrite your latest result.

Accounts are optional. If you sign in with your email or with Google, your email address and sign-in details are handled by our sign-in provider, Clerk, and the results you save (your type, scores and when you took the test) are stored with our database provider, Neon. We use them only to show you your results on any device. We do not store your individual answers, and we never sell your data.

You can export everything saved to your account, or delete the account and all of it, at any time from the data & privacy rights tools below.

If you buy Nomotype Plus, the payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details; we keep a record that your account bought Plus, with the amount and date.

Your test answers and results stay in your browser's local storage. We use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to understand how people use nomotype, for example how many visitors start and finish the test, which personality types come up, and whether results are shared. Google Analytics sets cookies and receives standard usage data such as pages viewed, device and approximate location. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland these cookies stay off until you allow them; elsewhere they are on unless you decline. You can change your choice any time from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. Vercel Analytics sets no cookies. We never send your answers, email address or other personal details to these services.

nomotype is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their information.

You control the data on your device. Under the GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA/CPRA you may have the right to access, export, correct, delete, or restrict your personal data, and to opt out of its sale or sharing.
